The 10 nights Japan Zen Tour allows you to visit the most important monuments and cities of Japan.
The visits begin in Kyoto, the old capital of the country, to get closer to the deepest Japanese spirit visiting its ancient temples and breathe the spirit of ancient Japan. Then we will visit Fukui with the possibility of visiting the area called "Echizen": Tojinbo is a set of cliffs that offer a spectacular view.
This travel package to Japan will give you the opportunity to sleep two nights in an authentic Ryokan (traditional Japanese accommodation) with dinner and breakfast included and to bathe and relax in an "Onsen" (typical Japanese hot spring).
In the city of Shirakawago, one of the most traditional cities in Japan, we will have the opportunity to admire the typical thatched-roof houses called Gassho-zukuri, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

We recommend visiting Nara, where you can see its Big Buddha, as well as the Kasuga Shrine. The city of Nara, founded in the year 710, was the capital of Japan for 74 years.

Kyoto - Fukui - Awara Onsen
Transfer to Awara Onsen by express train via Kanazawa from Kyoto in the morning.
At Fukui station, there's a possibility of hiring optional excursions to an area called “Echizen”: Tojinbo is a set of cliffs that offers a spectacular view, it is the cultural center of traditional Japanese paper where you can even make your very own postcard, and there's the Eiheiji Temple, one of the most important Zen Buddhist temples.
Transfer to Awara Onsen from Fukui by local train. Arrival to Awara Onsen and transfer to the ryokan by shuttle bus.
Traditional Japanese dinner at the ryokan.
Overnight stay at Awara Onsen, where you can enjoy a relaxing hot spring bath.

Awara Onsen - Kanazawa - Shirakawago - Takayama
Breakfast at the ryokan.
Transfer to Awara Onsen station from the ryokan by shuttle bus. Transfer to Kanazawa station by express train with your JR pass.
Arrival in Kanazawa and transfer to Takayama via Shirakawago by local bus (Nohi bus).
Shirakawago is a village declared as a World Heritage Site for its typical thatched-roof houses called Gassho-zukuri.
Overnight stay in Takayama in a "Ryokan", Japanese-style accommodation, including traditional dinner and breakfast.

Takayama - Tokyo
Breakfast at the ryokan.
Visit their traditional morning market.
Takayama's visit will allow you to go back in time and imagine 17th-century Japan by strolling through its streets. Inside the Kusakabe Mingei-Kan Museum you will learn about the traditional architecture of Takayama.
Transfer to Tokyo by express train and bullet train via Nagoya.
Night stay in Tokyo.

You will be struck in this cosmopolitan city by the incredible mixture of the classical, Temples and Sanctuaries, in contrast to the enormous magnitude of the most modern buildings in the city. Possibility of hiring optional excursions such as Nikko or Kamakura.
